I would like to thank you cordially for your association's generous donation! I met Mr Oberreiter last Thursday and was extremely pleased as he told me that "Animal Protection concerns us all!" wanted to support me in my work with the street animals in Pattaya. As you may have noted from my blog http://falko-duwe.blogspot.com/, a focus of my work is in the sterilization of the animals. I could already sterilize dozens, but there are still some left out of the pool of dogs I look after every day, and more animals are added steadily. Just the day before yesterday I have again brought a young bitch who lives in a slum to a clinic. The work is not easy and never gets less but thanks to people like you and organisations like "Animal Protection concerns us all!", I and all who care intensely about the pitiable creatures continually draw strength and hope. I have noticed on your website that you also support Rattana in Pak Chong and Fred and Ann in Hua Yai. That made me very happy, because I know how hard it is for them. Rattana I met two years ago when she was kind enough to take more than two dozen dogs that I could save from a transport into the city detention center. Fred and Ann also took care of five of "my" Rescue dogs for about a year until I found a place for them in Wat Baan Amphur Amparahm, not far from Fred and Ann's estate.
